Beat da Beetus

Name is Shelby. I am a type 1 diabetic. I have this blog to share my life as a diabetic. Help those that I can. Of any type.Though I will be able to relate to type 1 a lot more. I won't pretend to know something medically if I don't. I won't give straight out medical advice (very limited exceptions) because all of us are different with our bodies. I don't want to risk your life because something works for me. I will ask for advice and give advice. Gain support and give support. It's always nice to have people who can relate to you. <3 Feel free to ask me anything, suggest food and things that help motivate you to take better care of yourself.

I love you all! =D

shlynnty11.tumblr.com is my other blog. It's completely random.

What are some of your favorite no carbs drinks?

Also I was curious as to how diabetes affects those or you who play sports and/or have a very active lifestyle?

I used to do cross country I was in the middle of it when I started getting really sick. I miss running so much everyday. Also running at charity walks instead of just walking. I went into a coma at the end of my last cross country season.

I found out then I was diabetic. I never really got to much back into sports, including dancing as well, because I was scared to. To pass out, get too low and a variety of other things.
