- So I was curious as to if there is a better pain killer (ibuprofen, tylenol, aspirin, etc.) that is better or worse for diabetics?
I haven’t found much on it and always forget to ask my doctor. Just the best common medicines to use when diabetic. Cold medicine, pain killers, acid reducers, things like midol and such. Not too up to date on the medicine types.
Also your favorite sugar substitutes?
Currently I use Equal. I am aware of Splenda and the bad things it does to your body and how it can take bad and needed nutrients away from your body as well. I have no idea if equal is even better health wise or not.
Antioxidants! One of the best decisions I have made in a long time. I have been keeping up with drinking cranberry juice and other fruits. My variety on them is lacking though. As far as food and drinks go… the following would be great if anyone can tell me the best things to help me with….
-Protein
-Potassium
-electrolytes
-Antioxidants
I need better and healthier things for protein as well. I’m trying to reduce carbs on main meals and failing at that. Gaining weight is happening rapidly with my regular intake of insulin now. It’s really a downer that I keep up with taking care of my diabetes way better now and gaining weight is happening just like breathing. Really dislike that.
Also needing to lower my humagloban A1c just about 1.7 points as well if not a little bit lower by my next labs. Just tiny modifications with that to help lower it. Also curious to how everyone else has successfully lowered their humagloban A1c?
Oh besides my THC readings being good again my cholesterol is now completely back to a great state. No more crappy heart medication for that. Hated taking simfastatin. (However the heck you spell it.)
Hope everyone else is doing great. Betes’ greetings. <3
